Company Timeline

1981 — Founded in Montreal as Killen, Bullard, Devine, an independent insurance brokerage.
1987 — Commercial insurance services are added to support business clients.
2011 — The brokerage enters its next phase of growth under family leadership.
2013 — Curtis Killen joins the company, representing the third generation of family leadership.
2014 — The firm rebrands as KBD Insurance, modernizing its identity and service offering.
2018 — Curtis Killen is appointed President, leading strategic growth and modernization initiatives.
2025 — KBD Insurance serves over 30,000 clients across Quebec, with a growing presence in Ontario.

Adam is Vice-President at KBD Insurance, specializing in commercial risk solutions and client advisory. He supports both English and French speaking clients.
